Hi, I’m Lena. I’m in my 30′s, I have a 12 year old kiddo & I’ve been married to Doug for over 5 years. We have a dog & 2 cats. We call Maumelle, Arkansas our home.
I photographed my 1st wedding in 1998 when film still ruled. I did my first boudoir in 2002…or maybe it was 2001?? Either way, I’ve been photographing lovely ladies for quite sometime. I’m comfortable with it. I have seen all kinds of women. Super thin, to super thick, short, tall, VERY tall and very short! I’ve seen young and old. I’ve seen everything in between. I’ve seen stretch marks, bruises, tats, piercings, lopsided boobies to fake ones….what I love about all the differences is that every person is unique. No one is the same. We all have some sort of flaw. No one is perfect and I LOVE that. My job is to highlight your good and to hide the “bad”…..and honestly I don’t think anything is bad. Stretch marks may be there because they are battle wounds of having your child. You may have a tat because it has deep meaning. Whatever it is – it is what makes you the person you are.
So enough of my soapbox. I little bit more about me. I’m quirky. I’m talkative. I’m too friendly and probably too nice. I’m working on the word ‘no’ and working on not saying yes to everything. Can you make 12 dozen cookies by tomorrow? Ummm…I used to say “sure, yes!” But now, I’m learning that I cannot be superwoman. I love traveling. I’m addicted to middle eastern dance (belly dance) and to Egypt. I love art & theater. I majored in that as well as anthropology. I graduated from the University of Arkansas Little Rock in 2011. I am a sequin & glitter addict. I can’t get enough Thai food. That pretty much sums me up!
